Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us when using our service:

• Account information (email, name, profile picture)
• Book content and metadata you generate
• Payment and subscription information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Process your payments and manage subscriptions
• Improve our AI generation capabilities
• Send you important updates and notifications

Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption of sensitive information

• Secure cloud storage with Firebase
• Limited employee access to user data

Connected assistants

When you authorize an assistant such as ChatGPT, Inkrify processes your account identifier, granted permissions, connection records, account entitlements and quotas, and the instructions, outlines, chapters and status of the relevant projects. We use this data to check access, perform your requests, track generation and prevent unauthorized access. If you grant identity permissions, your email address and verification status are also shared with the assistant.

Content returned to ChatGPT is sent to OpenAI. OpenAI also processes the instructions and content needed to generate books. Google Firebase handles sign-in and your library; the Inkrify server stores generation projects and connections in its database. Data shared with an assistant provider is also subject to that provider’s privacy policy. Inkrify does not automatically receive all your other conversations with that assistant.

Books, generation histories and connection records are retained until a deletion request is processed; these records currently have no fixed automatic deletion period. A connection authorization expires after at most 90 days and can be revoked sooner. Expiration disables access but does not automatically delete the records. Access and refresh tokens are stored as hashes on our server.

You can revoke access from Account → Connected assistants. Revocation does not delete books, cancel generation you have already approved or erase data already shared with the assistant provider. Deleting a book from your library does not automatically erase its generation history. To request access, export or deletion of this data, contact hello@inkrify.com. For data held by the assistant provider, also use that provider’s privacy controls.
